The Button Room 2 Tablet Shop

The tablet is the in-room browser in The Button Room 2. Pytox added a working shop with delivery to the chamber: you order, a carton arrives, you flip it, gear spills out. Players who never open the tablet never see the Mecha upper part. That is a shopping miss, not bad RNG.

How to spawn the tablet

You may need a Tablet card (LuckyBlock, Easter leftovers, loot packs — see how to get cards). Some sessions leave a tablet in the world. If the device is missing, redeem codes first, then loot-class buttons, then stop. Five trap presses will not craft a shop.

The tablet looks like a handheld / stand device, not another wall switch. Do not smash it like a loot button.

What to order

Escape kit. Camera, plank, or whatever the wall refused. The escape route is a four-object puzzle. Buying the missing object is the intended skip.

Mecha top. Community runs agree the upper assembly is frequently a tablet SKU. Bottom still drops from a button. Combine at the table in the Mecha guide.

Armor and rifles. Useful if codes did not gift a Laser. Do not replace a multi-use code gun with a weaker shop copy.

Potions. Only if you are dry on Super Potions after the codes dump.

Delivery and unpack

Orders arrive in a carton next to the room. Flip / pour the box. Walking away mid-unpack is how people “never got the rifle.” The physics joke is the tutorial.

If the carton clips a trap tile, pull it with a Gravity Gun or wait for the tile to cycle. Standing in the UI during a wave is a self-report.

Paying for it

The tablet drinks crypto-buttons, not Slot Coins. Slot Coins belong to luck machines. Mixing them at the trader is how you bankrupt a run.

Earn CB from printers, sells, codes such as 10Mmilestone, and the farm loop on farm crypto-buttons. Sell duplicate Commons. Never sell paper, plank, camera, scissors, Tape, Revives, or Mecha parts.

When not to shop

• You have not redeemed live codes yet.
• A Mecha is already spawned.
• You are mid-photograph of the timed safe.
• An admin event has turned the lighting into a carnival. Wait.

After the box is empty

Equip the gun. Spend leftover CB only if the escape checklist is complete. The tablet will still be there after you sit in the chair. First-hour players should bounce back to Getting Started rather than browsing the whole catalog.

Stock and restock

The catalog is not Steam. SKUs vanish after events. If the Mecha top is grey, farm crypto-buttons and check again after a wave, or loot a second Tablet card. Do not refresh by dying; death can drop the carton on a trap.

Discounts in developer clips are real sometimes and bait other times. If a rifle costs less than a camera, buy the camera first. Endings beat DPS.

Co-op orders

One tablet can feed a group if you call the SKU. Three people ordering three tops is how you spawn a Mecha nobody prepped scissors for. One buyer, one cutter, one gunner. Quests that need a door still need the golden key, not a shop crate.
